Srđ Portolan in his capacity as a real estate agency director explains to us that Župa Dubrovčaka which occupies the territory of Dubrovnik Riviera right the half way from Dubrovnik City and Dubrovnik Airport has a huge potential in property appreciation. Srdj explains that recent new luxury hotel developments coupled with the fact that it is the half way from the airport and Dubrovnik City have all together prompted many domestic and foreign property developers to start constructing the luxury villas. Some Dubrovnik based property developers do not conceal their disappointment. Srdj explained to us that this should not be the case, Srđ believes that Golf project on the hill Srđ, over the Old City, ( no coincidence in the name bearing, Srđ was one of the Gods Slavs worshiped ) would go ahead and that can mean only one thing, strong positioning of Dubrovnik as a brand on the international real estate market. Srđ believes that villa constructions in Župa Dubrovačka and those on Hill Srđ are excellent for the competition and market segmentation.
